Museum Group Tour Regulations

Adult supervisors are expected to maintain discipline and shall be held responsible for their groups.

Unsupervised and unruly students will be ask to leave exhibit areas.

Organizations must provide one (1) adult chaperone for each five (5) preschool age children; one adult for every ten (10) elementary and secondary students.

Maximum recommended group size is 25. Larger groups should be divided up, and enter the museum 5-10 minutes apart.

The rights of other museum visitors must be respected at all times. Students are expected to walk, never run, and to speak in quiet voices. (Groups must stay together)

Students must not cross exhibit barriers or fences or touch operating model railroads.

Food and drinks are NOT permitted in the Museum Gift Shop, but are permitted in all other areas of the museum, unless posted otherwise. SCHOOL GROUP PARTICIPANTS are not permitted in the Museum Gift Shop.

Fees are $0.50 (cents) per student. Required adult chaperones are admitted free: additional adults are admitted at half price.
